YES! I admit it...I'm a foodie. I am a sucker for cute party ideas!
Cute graduation cupcakes. Hey, take the time to make the frosting it makes a world of difference. My butter cream is easy. Cream a stick of softened butter with a box of powdered sugar. Want chocolate? add Hershey's coco powder (the more the darker) warm up milk or coffee in the microwave and add small amounts at a time. Alot will make a glaze, a small amount will produce thick fluffy delicious frosting. Leave the small peanut butter cup in the brown wrapper to avoid any of the peanut butter from showing. Use a tooth pick to assemble the upside down PB cup to a square of a chocolate bar use frosting to ad a mini m&m and a slice of a licorice for the tassel. If you do use tooth picks warn your guests to take the candy off first. My kids graduation party was a hit!
Owl cookies, almost too cute to eat... haven't tried them but they are to die for, aren't they? Imagine them on a great platter with some special coffee with all the trimmings. Home made whip cream, shaved choclate, cinnamon, coco. You use your imagination. Don't forget a cute tree branch table cloth. I like these because the cookies could be shortbread, sugar cookies, or even an almond cookie.
Owl cupcakes...Oh come on, those are so cute made with oreo's. Here is the thing to remember, adults like them just as much as kids. Never limit your ideas and compartmenalize things for only certain individuals, broaden your idea span.

Best looking apple I have ever seen...gonna make em? Don't buy some gross tasting cooking apple. The Pink Lady Apple is the most tasty and crisp apple and would taste great with chocolate on it. O.k. picture it...A cute luncheon with all your friends, its in your garden, they are on a three tier dessert holder. What other whimsical things could you make to add to it?

Where's Morro Bay and what is Summer Cottage?
Summer Cottage is a quaint little shop at 863 Main Street in Morro Bay, California. Although the store has been named Summer Cottage under different owners, for the past five years my sister and I have turned it into a charming collection of beachy chic, old barn wood furniture, items with a vintage flair, specialty candies, vintage finds and much more. The tiny shop is filled to the brim with wonderful and unique handcrafted items from local artisans as well as home decor items and gifts from wonderful companies such as Bethany Lowe and Victorian Trading Company and Moonlight and Roses.
Our little cottage was mentioned in a issue of Coastal Living Magazine
"Summer Cottage is brimming with beachy gifts for your home garden and porch".
The shop is a must see when you come to Morro Bay for the gorgeous view of the majestic Morro Rock and it's coastline with hundreds of animals and birds that inhabit the Estero Bay.

Living on the coast of Caifornia and loving it
There is nothing like living in California near the ocean. The smell of the breeze and the moist air remind me of being a young girl camping at El Capitan beach just above Santa Barbara with our grandparents. I fell in love with the deep blue ocean the sand and seagulls and I have never wanted to be anywhere else. The coastal shores of California will always be in my heart.
